Blue Lake Canyon is the most remote side of Lassen Park.
A non-maintained trail goes up Blue Canyon inside the Park,
then peters out short of highly scenic Blue Lake.
A easy 4WD route follows the
canyon up to the National Forest/National Park boundary and
the start of the trail. There are nice campsites on
either end, near North Fork Bailey Creek.
Creek water, no toilets, no
fee. Campfire permit required.
