Butte Lake has a big campground set in
an open, warm, pine forest. It is at the end of the
road, with three trailheads adjacent to the campground.
101 campsites, with both pit and
flush toilets. The pine forest is large and
impressive.
Butte Creek Campground just
down the road is cooler and more shaded. But Butte
Lake has a better view.
