A popular, smaller campground on the banks of vigorous and cool Deer Creek.

Pit toilets, hand pump water, and 12 campsites.

This campground is fairly far from the Lassen trailheads, but is convenient for hikers coming up from Chico who want to get an early start by camping on the way up.
