Summit Lake is a classic campground split into two parts on
either side of Summit Lake.
The Park Service generally maintains it well. The
campsites are fairly small, but it is not as cramped as
Manzanita Lake.
Excellent hikes start at the
campground trailheads.
Tends to have more mosquitos
than the other campgrounds in the Park, mostly in July. |
