This is a gentle uphill hike to glacier-carved Cliff Lake.

The climb begins in forgettable sparse forest, and gets prettier as it goes up.

You reach a lovely meadow, and then down the side trail to Cliff Lake. The lake has a charming island, and pleasant picnic spots
