A weirdly compelling falls of the confluence of the creeks from Bumpass Hell and Little Hot Springs Valley hydrothermal areas.

Not what is considered a classically beautiful mountain falls, but therein lies its charm.

The trail is a bit of a rollercoaster, finishing with uphill to end the hike.

Look for the expansive fields of Woolly mule-ears, with big yellow flowers in summer, and rustling dry leaves in autumn.
