Good for all, but beginners may find this hike especially
rewarding. The beauty/effort ratio is high.
It has a fairly stiff climb up
along a branch of Hat Creek which suddenly opens up at
idyllic Paradise Meadow.
No cars, no human structures.
A crystal-clear creek meandering through lush grasses and
sedges. It feels like being deep in the wilderness.
And then a short walk back
downhill to the trailhead. |
