Roadside Campsites These are in Lassen National Forest. Roadside camping is not allowed in the National Park. In the National Forest, camping is allowed most anywhere outside of the campgrounds; these are the user-established campsites accessible by car. They require a campfire permit, no toilets (except Benner Cr, Hay Meadow, & Willow Lake), no piped water (have creek or lake water), usually no picnic tables Be sure to read Leave No Trace Principles
